Currently based in NYC and completing her MFA at Columbia University.

Giorgia (arg,1999) finished Law School in 2022 at UdeSA and presented a thesis focused on the operational framework of art and law.
As an intermedia artist, her practice is contingent on
site, time, and presence. The work delegates its conditions for completion to the power hierarchy in which
it occurs.

It tends to bring forward the regulatory, cultural and social norms that establish art as a normative field, contrary to the way in which it often claims to operate.

  • She is particularly interested in the theatricality of arrangements. Working with found props, images and process remnants she arranges objects in a site conditioned manner. The association is rarely rebuilt in the same way using the same props on a different day..
